LRT Masjid Jamek to Telekom Museum

A Five-Minute Walk: Masjid Jamek LRT to Telekom Museum

Telekom Museum, Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur’s city center is full of hidden gems tucked between its busy streets. One of them is the Telekom Museum, a quiet heritage building that tells the story of Malaysia’s telecommunications history. Best of all, it’s just a short five-minute walk from Masjid Jamek LRT station.

It is about a 5-minute walk from LRT Masjid Jamek station (LRT Kelana Jaya Line) to Muzium Telekom (Telekom Museum).

  • Straight Ahead Continue walking straight for about three minutes. The path is shaded by old trees and lined with colonial-era buildings that hint at Kuala Lumpur’s layered past.

Cross the road and continue straight ahead.

  • Arrive at the Telekom Museum On your left, the Telekom Museum appears—a stately white building with arched windows and a quiet charm. Its architecture reflects the city’s heritage, inviting you to step inside and explore.
