An eight‑minute riverside walk into KL’s heritage district

The Kuala Lumpur Library is a quiet retreat in the heart of the city, offering free access to books, archives, and cultural resources. It’s a popular stop for students, researchers, and anyone seeking a peaceful corner near Merdeka Square.

Directions

  1. Exit LRT Pasar Seni Station through Exit D.

  2. Head straight to the staircase and go down to the ground level.

  3. Continue straight ahead along the Klang Riverside walkway, with the river on your left.

  4. Cross Jalan Tun Sambanthan at the yellow crossing.

  5. Walk straight to the left along the riverside walkway.

  6. Continue until you reach the main road, Leboh Pasar Besar.

  7. Turn left and walk along the sidewalk.

  8. Head straight and cross the road at the traffic light intersection.

  9. Continue straight ahead — in about two minutes, you’ll arrive at the Kuala Lumpur Library.

Walking Time: ~8 minutes



Exit the LRT station through Exit D.

Head straight.

Cross the road and head straight to the left along the riverside walkway.






Turn left onto the main road, Leboh Pasar Besar.



Head straight ahead.




Cross the road.



Arrive at Kuala Lumpur Library.
