A Five-Minute Walk into Chinatown’s Creative Heritage Lane

Destination: Kwai Chai Hong

Kwai Chai Hong is a restored heritage lane in Chinatown, known for:

  • Murals & art: Vibrant street art depicting old KL life.

Directions

  • From LRT Pasar Seni station, follow the signs to MRT Pasar Seni.

  • At the MRT station, turn left toward Entrance A (Pintu A).

  • Exit through Entrance A and head straight.

  • Turn right onto Jalan Panggong.

  • Walk straight for about one minute, then turn left onto a side lane between two shops — with the Merdeka 118 tower visible above in the near distance.

  • At the end of the lane, turn right.

  • The entrance to Kwai Chai Hong is just steps away, on your left.

  • The entire walk takes about five minutes.




Follow the signs to MRT Pasar Seni.

The link bridge connects LRT Pasar Seni station to MRT Pasar Seni station.



Exit through Entrance A (Pintu A).

MRT Pasar Seni station.




Once outside, head straight to the main road and turn right.



Head straight ahead along the shops.




Continue straight ahead.





Turn left onto a small lane between the shops.




Turn right at the end of the lane.




Arrive at Kwai Chai Hong on your left.
