If you’re exploring Kuala Lumpur and want to experience one of its most historic landmarks, the journey couldn’t be simpler.

 From MRT Pasar Seni station, it takes just two minutes on foot to reach the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in the city, located along Tun H S Lee Street.



Step-by-Step Directions

  • Exit the station via Gate A (Pintu A).

  • Turn left onto Sultan Street.

  • At the traffic light junction, head right.

  • Walk about 100 meters, and you’ll find the temple on your left.

Visiting the Temple

The temple welcomes visitors free of charge. Before entering, remember to remove your shoes as a sign of respect. Inside, you’ll discover vibrant architecture, intricate carvings, and a living space of devotion that has stood since the 19th century.
