LRT Pasar Seni to Merdeka Square

It takes about 5 minutes to walk from LRT Pasar Seni Station to Merdeka Square (Independent Square). 

Along the way, you'll pass Central Market, the National Textile Museum, and rows of graceful colonial buildings that reflect Kuala Lumpur's heritage charm.

Klang River:

The Klang River and its riverside walkway are just outside LRT Pasar Seni Station, with the Pos Malaysia building on the other side of the river.


Follow the pathway to the maid road
The walkway toward Central Market.


Cross the road:

Cross the road and head left. 

After crossing the road, continue on the riverside walkway to your left.


And walk along Klang River:

Turn left at the main road:

The River of Life is just across the road — a nice spot to visit after exploring Merdeka Square.


Follow the pedestrian walkway — you’ll see heritage buildings on both sides of the road.

Cross the road at the traffic light and head right:

The National Textile Museum building is on your left.
