A Twenty-Minute Walk: From MRT Kepong Baru to Kepong Metropolitan Park
From Shops to Scenic Waters
The Park
This is one of Kuala Lumpur’s largest green spaces, a vast park anchored by a big lake in the middle.
Jogging track and cycling lane stretch about 3.5 km — one round is enough to feel the rhythm of the place.
Scenic views of water framed by green hills create a tranquil backdrop.
If you’re lucky, you might spot a giant monitor lizard along the lakeside. They’re accustomed to people and often move calmly even when approached with a camera.
Directions
Exit Gate A at MRT Kepong Baru.
Turn left and head straight, walking past a long row of shops.
At the end of the shops, turn right.
Continue straight, passing by a factory, until you reach the main road.
Cross the road and head left.
After two rows of shops, turn right at the cornered Mamak restaurant.
The entrance to Kepong Metropolitan Park appears ahead.
